Description

Drive core development within the storage domain as an individual contributor. Design, review, and code programs according to project specifications. Develop software and firmware independently with minimal guidance. Create software requirement and design documents including SRS and SDS. Interact with onsite teams and customers to resolve issues and clarify requirements via email and video conferencing. Report assignment status to Technical Architects following defined processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement storage-related software and firmware modules.
• Produce detailed SRS and SDS documentation for new features.
• Debug complex issues and analyze system performance.
• Collaborate with onsite teams to clarify technical requirements.
• Manage release processes and report status to architects.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software or firmware development.
• Expertise in C and C++ programming.
• Strong object-oriented design and data structures knowledge.
• Practical knowledge of SDLC and release management.
• Ability to produce SRS and SDS documentation.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills.
• MTech in Computer Science, ECE, or EEE.

Preferred Skills

• Simulation development using Matlab.
• Understanding of SoC architecture and communication protocols.
