Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain production Windows desktop applications using C# and .NET 8
Implement and manage authentication flows with Azure AD/Entra ID using Microsoft.IdentityModel
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure Pipelines with multi-stage YAML configurations
Manage Windows installer technologies including InstallShield, WiX Toolset, and code-signing pipelines
Develop and maintain data access layers using SQL Server, MongoDB Atlas, and Entity Framework
Architect and deploy ASP.NET Core microservices on Azure Kubernetes Service
Implement resilience patterns using Polly and integrate Azure Service Bus for messaging
Conduct thorough code reviews and maintain high standards for pull request engineering
Support numerical calculation engines with focus on accuracy and regression discipline
Manage dependencies using MSBuild Central Package Management and NuGet packaging

Qualifications

10+ years of professional software engineering experience with 3+ years on production Windows desktop applications
Strong proficiency in C#/.NET 8 with experience across modern hosting models and .NET Framework 4.x migration paths
Hands-on experience with WinForms or equivalent rich-client Windows UI frameworks
Proven experience integrating desktop applications with Azure AD/Entra ID using Microsoft.IdentityModel and System.IdentityModel.Tokens.Jwt
Strong Azure Pipelines (YAML) expertise including multi-stage pipelines, templates, and service connections
Experience with Windows installer technologies (InstallShield, WiX Toolset) and code-signing pipelines
Strong SQL Server skills including T-SQL, schema design, and migration strategies
Hands-on experience with MongoDB Atlas including schema modeling, aggregation pipelines, and index design
Working knowledge of Entity Framework or comparable ORM frameworks
Experience with ASP.NET Core microservices on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
Proficiency with Azure Service Bus, Azure SQL, Helm, KEDA, NGINX Ingress, and Azure Key Vault
Experience with testing frameworks including Reqnroll, FlaUI, and JMeter
Strong Azure DevOps expertise including Git, Boards, Pipelines, Artifacts, and Wiki
Comfortable with PowerShell for build and automation tasks
Track record of landing non-trivial work independently with disciplined pull-request engineering
