Senior Software Engineer

Develop and maintain Node.js-based applications and middleware within an AWS Serverless environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage microservices using Node.js and AWS Serverless technologies.
• Design and develop REST-based APIs.
• Write CloudFormation scripts to manage infrastructure as code.
• Implement unit tests, continuous deployment processes, and thorough code documentation.
• Maintain version control using Git.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience developing Node.js-based applications.
• 3+ years of experience building middleware with Node.js.
• 2+ years of experience using the AWS Serverless platform.
• Proficiency with AWS Lambda, ECS Fargate, and API Gateway.
• Strong experience in REST-based API design and development.
• Experience with CloudFormation for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Working knowledge of Git and continuous deployment workflows.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and Node.js.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate level education.
