Description

You will design, develop, and deploy Java-based applications in a multi-cloud environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design object-oriented and service-oriented architectures for new features and existing function redesigns.
• Develop and refactor code, implementing unit and integration testing to resolve product defects.
• Build and support API services using REST and SOAP in distributed environments.
• Provide technical expertise through peer code reviews and write technical specifications and documentation.
• Partner with Quality Assurance to drive high-quality, on-time deliverables and assist in customer issue resolution.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience designing, developing, and deploying Java applications.
• Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Analysis, Design, and Implementation.
• Proficiency with Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Gradle.
• Experience with relational databases including Oracle and PostgreSQL.
• Hands-on experience with ORM, JPA framework, and JSON parsing, serialization, and deserialization.
• Experience building API services using REST and SOAP.
• Understanding of cloud-native application design patterns for scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies and cross-functional remote teams.
• Strong analytical design and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms and JVM migrations.
• Knowledge of containerized platform tools like Kubernetes (k8s) and HELM.
• Experience with messaging tools such as Kafka and AVRO schema.
