Description

You will build and own the core component library and infrastructure for our design system.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain a reusable, scalable component library using React and TypeScript.
• Implement and govern a design token system to ensure visual consistency across web and mobile platforms.
• Develop backend APIs, services, and tooling (asset pipelines, documentation servers) to support the design system.
• Define and document component APIs, props, and guidelines specifically to optimize consumption by AI code generation tools.
• Own the full lifecycle of the design system infrastructure, including Storybook, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, focused on front-end architecture.
• Expert-level knowledge of React and TypeScript.
• Proven experience leading the development of a design system from concept to production.
• Proficiency with CSS-in-JS methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with Storybook.
• Proficiency in backend technologies such as Node.js, GraphQL, or Python.
• Deep commitment to accessibility standards (WCAG) and performance.
