Description

You will lead automation efforts for backend services and microservices architectures.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test suites using Selenium and the Page Object Model (POM).
• Execute API automation for REST and SOAP services using REST Assured, Karate, or similar tools.
• Implement BDD frameworks using Cucumber or SpecFlow to support testing requirements.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines via Jenkins.
• Perform manual API testing and validation using Postman or SOAP UI.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software testing with a focus on Java.
• Strong proficiency in Core Java concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, TestNG, and POM.
• Expertise in API automation (REST Assured or Karate) and manual testing (Postman, SOAP UI).
• Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD processes using Jenkins.
• Experience testing Microservices and backend API integrations.
• Foundational understanding of Kafka and Spring/Spring Boot frameworks.
• Proficiency in SQL for data validation.
