Own the full development lifecycle from architecture design to deployment, ensuring system reliability and code quality.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable backend architectures and complex solutions.
• Write high-quality, maintainable code and lead code reviews to enforce standards.
• Analyze, debug, and troubleshoot complex technical problems to improve reliability.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for design decisions and implementations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive requirements from analysis to deployment.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in backend development and database management.
• 2-3 years of experience with Python and Django.
• 2-3 years of experience practicing TDD in Python.
• Strong proficiency in writing unit and integration tests.
• Expertise in database design, scaling, ORMs, transactions, and managing deadlocks.
• Experience with Dockerization and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency with Git and repository hosting services like GitHub or Bitbucket.
• Experience with real-time communication using websockets.
• Understanding of application infrastructure design and frontend concepts.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS, NodeJS, and MongoDB.
• Background working on SaaS applications and large-scale databases.
