Description

You will design, prototype, and implement embedded software architectures and kernel-level systems for embedded devices.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and prototype embedded software architectures and system designs.
• Develop, review, and unit test code for embedded Linux and device drivers.
• Manage build processes, bootloaders, and kernel-level development.
• Optimize system performance using memory and performance profiling tools.
• Implement inter-process communications (IPC) and remote procedure calls (RPC).

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software development and architecture.
• Expertise in C and C++ (C++11, C++14, or C++17).
• Deep knowledge of Embedded Linux, BSP, and Linux subsystems.
• Extensive experience with POSIX-based systems such as Linux or QNX.
• Strong understanding of multithreading, algorithms, and IPC.
• Experience with client-server, peer-to-peer, and publish/subscribe paradigms.
• Proficiency in C, C++, Embedded Linux, HTTP, TLS, REST, Websockets, JSON, and XML.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with IP-based protocols including Protobufs, Flatbuffers, RTP, RTSP, or HLS.
