Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, and deliver scalable Java-based microservices using Spring Boot.
• Lead end-to-end engineering efforts from requirements analysis through deployment.
• Develop new microservices and enhance existing enterprise applications.
• Build and maintain RESTful and SOAP web services.
• Implement event-driven architectures using Kafka.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation processes.
• Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and best engineering practices.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, frameworks, and modern architectural patterns.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 10–12 years of experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in Java 17 and Spring Boot microservices development.
• Extensive experience with Java (8+), J2EE, JUnit, and REST & SOAP web services.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka (Mandatory).
• Experience working with Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Jira (Mandatory).
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools: GitHub, Jenkins, Urban Code Deploy, Harness.
• Strong problem-solving and ownership mindset.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience leading technical design and delivery initiatives.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).
• Exposure to React.js.
• Experience with modern architecture and engineering best practices
