Description

You will design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and ETL automation within an Azure environment.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable data pipelines in Azure using Python and Databricks for large-scale processing.
• Build and optimize data lakes and backend architectures for efficient extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Manage healthcare data including claims and pharma, implementing security measures like tokenization for PHI/PII compliance.
• Integrate middleware solutions such as MuleSoft for data processing between SAP and Databricks.
• Drive infrastructure reliability through monitoring, reporting, and moving toward Infrastructure as Code using Bicep.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of Python development experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Databricks and ETL development for large-scale data environments.
• Expertise in ETL automation and designing robust data pipelines.
• Extensive experience with Azure Cloud technologies.
• Experience handling sensitive healthcare data (PHI/PII, claims, or pharma).
• Knowledge of ServiceNow for CMDB and auto-discovery.
• Experience with Bicep for Infrastructure as Code.
• Familiarity with implementing security measures like tokenization and web application firewalls.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with ML code generation tools like Copilot to enhance development efficiency.
