Description

Lead the design and implementation of complex, scalable software systems using Java. Translate business requirements into technical specifications alongside product and UX teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and architecture discussions for complex software systems.
• Write efficient, maintainable code using Java and related technologies.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers on design principles and best practices.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and technical challenges.
• Participate in agile processes including sprint planning and daily stand-ups.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of professional experience in software development using Java/J2EE.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring, and Hibernate.
• Experience building Web Services, RESTful APIs, and microservices architectures.
• Solid understanding of software architecture patterns and object-oriented design.
• Proven ability to design and implement scalable software systems.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies using tools like Jira and Confluence.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
