Description

Lead architectural design and end-to-end delivery of distributed systems, ensuring technical quality and timely execution.

Responsibilities

• Design functional and architectural solutions for distributed systems and prepare specifications for stakeholder approval.
• Own end-to-end delivery of assigned technical areas, managing deadlines and quality objectives.
• Conduct code reviews, establish coding standards, and implement engineering guidelines to maintain high code quality.
• Analyze alternative technical solutions and make implementation decisions based on expertise and system requirements.
• Identify area-level risks and execute mitigation plans to resolve technical crises and performance issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Java and strong Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) skills.
• Experience with distributed systems and big data technologies including Hadoop, Hive, and Spark.
• Proficiency in debugging and solving performance issues within a Linux environment.
• Commitment to automated testing and engineering best practices.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Related Sciences or a similar field.
• Strong English communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with streaming and real-time data serving systems such as Kafka, Spark Streaming, or Flink.
• Experience with distributed data storage systems like HBase, Druid, or Cassandra.
• Knowledge of Python.
