Description

Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java-based web applications within an Agile environment. You will define software architecture, write technical documentation, and drive engineering projects from concept to release.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable solutions using Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and Spring Web MVC.
• Develop and maintain web services using REST, SOAP, WSDL, Apache CXF, and Apache Axis.
• Write clean, efficient code and conduct code reviews to ensure system quality.
• Automate testing and implement unit tests for all assigned applications.
• Manage database interactions with SQL, Oracle 19c, and Postgres.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of relevant software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Java/J2EE including JDBC, File I/O, Multi-Threading, and Collections.
• Experience with Apache ActiveMQ for messaging.
• Strong database knowledge with SQL, Oracle 19c, and Postgres.
• Hands-on experience in Unix/Linux environments and Linux Shell scripting.
• Frontend proficiency in Angular, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with D3.js for data visualization.
• Knowledge of configuration management tools like Jira, Jenkins, Maven, or Gradle.
• Experience with version control systems such as GIT, Bitbucket, SVN, or Mercurial.
