Description

You will drive backend development and deployment workflows using Java and enterprise middleware.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using Java and frameworks like Spring or Hibernate.
• Manage database technologies including SQL, NoSQL, DB2, or Postgres.
• Execute build and deployment activities using IBM WebSphere Application Servers or IBM Liberty.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Produce technical documentation and architectural flow-charts.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of Java development experience with Spring or Hibernate.
• 10+ years of experience with SQL, NoSQL, DB2, or Postgres.
• 10+ years of experience with IBM WebSphere Application Servers or IBM Liberty.
• 10+ years of experience with Git or GitHub.
• 10+ years of experience with GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• 8+ years of experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• 8+ years of experience writing technical documentation and flow-charts.
• Bachelor’s Degree in an IT-related or Engineering field.

Preferred Skills

• 15+ years of experience with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) best practices.
• 2+ years of experience with Microfocus ALM or ALM Octane.
• 2+ years of experience working in a public sector transportation agency.
