Description

Build features for a Security Data Lake product ingesting petabytes of data and hundreds of billions of events daily.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop new features and write robust Java code.
• Lead technical initiatives and drive architectural decisions via technical specifications.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure quality, security, and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot outage incidents and address security issues through on-call rotation.
• Collaborate with architects, product management, and engineers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java.
• Experience with distributed systems and software optimization.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP) including S3/GCS, SQS/PubSub, and PostgreSQL/RDS/CloudSQL.
• Familiarity with Cassandra, Kafka, Redis, and GitHub.
• Ability to design and document technical specifications.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with high-throughput data ingestion pipelines.
• Background in security-focused software development.
