Description

Build web-based applications interacting with databases, file systems, and APIs. Own the full development lifecycle within a multi-disciplinary Agile team.

Responsibilities

• Develop web applications using Node.js and frameworks like ExpressJS or HAPI.
• Write clean, readable code while maintaining high standards for quality.
• Implement best practices for performance, security, maintainability, and extensibility.
• Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary Agile team to deliver solutions for web, mobile, and tablet.
• Stay current with evolving client and server-side technologies and architectural goals.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in web application development.
• Proficiency in Functional and Object-Oriented JavaScript.
• Working knowledge of at least one framework: React, NextJS, Angular, Backbone, or Ember.
• Experience with Node.js and frameworks such as ExpressJS or HAPI.
• Proficiency in HTML and CSS.
• Experience with databases including MongoDB, Postgres, or DynamoDB.
• Familiarity with Git version control.
• Understanding of TypeScript or Flow.
• Knowledge of unit testing frameworks like Jest, Enzyme, or Mocha.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of CSS frameworks such as Bootstrap, Material UI, or Tailwind.
• Understanding of microservices, Docker, and AWS cloud services.
