Description

Lead Linux and cloud infrastructure initiatives, covering architecture, provisioning, deployment, and ongoing operations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect, provision, and maintain Linux infrastructure and cloud services, integrating on-premises environments with AWS or Azure.
• Build automation for Linux provisioning, patching, security hardening, and lifecycle management using shell scripting and IaC tools.
• Deploy and operate cloud infrastructure while ensuring reliability, security, and operational standards.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver infrastructure capabilities that support business outcomes.
• Continuously improve platform maintainability and security posture.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Linux systems, infrastructure, or cloud engineering.
• Deep hands-on experience administering, securing, and optimizing Linux environments.
• Proven cloud architecture and engineering experience in AWS or Azure.
• Strong shell scripting and automation skills with Chef or Ansible.
• Experience using Terraform to provision infrastructure.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Expertise in Go or Python.
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD or GitHub Actions for automated deployments.
• Knowledge of container runtimes, Kubernetes, or immutable infrastructure pipelines.
