Description

You will design and engineer large-scale systems while maintaining core platform stability and performance.

Responsibilities

• Refactor and maintain core systems to support scaling requirements.
• Develop secure, well-tested features and improvements for the Nifty product.
• Troubleshoot technical issues by leveraging deep system knowledge.
• Build greenfield portions of the application through cross-functional collaboration.
• Mentor junior and intermediate engineers to improve technical responsibilities and remove blockers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience designing and engineering large-scale systems.
• Proficiency with Python.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Experience with BigQuery.
• Hands-on experience with AWS.
• Hands-on experience with GCP.
• Experience with TypeScript, React, and styled-components.
• Experience with Jest, React Testing Library, and Cypress.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, GitHub, and CircleCI.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Next.js.
