Description

You will uplift security posture by integrating security controls into developer tooling, end-user engineering, and platform teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate daily with platform and engineering teams to improve security posture.
• Provide technical feedback through regular code reviews.
• Implement security measures across the software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Apply algorithms and data structures to build data-intensive systems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
• Proficiency in Java, C++, Node.js, and AWS.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Istio.
• Hands-on use of GitHub or GitLab.
• Knowledge of Open Policy Agent, Cosign, and CNCF-maintained tools.
• Experience with supply chain security within the SDLC.
• Exposure to application security tooling including SAST and SCA.
• Working knowledge of common algorithms and data structures for large-scale data.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in regulated environments.
• Previous consulting experience working closely with engineers.
• Experience writing standards, policy documentation, or policy as code.
