Description

You will own the design, implementation, and scaling of complex software solutions across the full development lifecycle.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable software architectures and complex technical solutions.
• Write high-quality, maintainable code and lead code reviews to ensure adherence to standards.
• Analyze technical problems, debug application issues, and implement performance improvements.
• Manage the full software development lifecycle from requirements analysis to deployment.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for design decisions and project information.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in backend development, databases, and infrastructure design.
• 2-3 years of experience using TDD with Python.
• 2-3 years of experience with Python and Django.
• Strong expertise in database design, scaling, ORMs, and managing transactions/deadlocks.
• Proficiency in writing unit and integration tests.
• Experience with Dockerization and CI/CD pipelines.
• Advanced skills in GIT and repository hosting services like GitHub or Bitbucket.
• Experience implementing real-time communication using websockets.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS, Node.js, and MongoDB.
• Background working on SaaS applications.
• Familiarity with application monitoring, logging, and debugging at scale.
