Description

You will design, develop, and maintain a heavily customized Magento-based ecommerce frontend and backend API layer.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend APIs on the Magento framework and single-page application frontends integrated via RESTful APIs.
• Build responsive UI layouts for web and mobile application pages using Bootstrap.
• Collaborate with architects, product managers, and UX designers to convert mockups into functional web and mobile flows.
• Design graphical user interface elements including menus, tabs, and widgets.
• Identify and troubleshoot UI issues regarding responsiveness, cross-platform compatibility, and browser quirks.
• Resolve web API performance issues and conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Proven coding experience in PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience developing rich UI components using ReactJS.
• Strong understanding of software and application design and architecture.
• Ability to handle front end UI visual presentation of data, including charts.
• Experience working within an agile environment.
• Knowledge of software quality assurance principles.
• Strong documentation, communication, and presentation skills.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with ecommerce application frameworks.
• Knowledge of Linux shell scripts.
