Description

You will design, develop, and maintain a heavily customized Magento-based ecommerce frontend and backend API layer.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend APIs using the Magento framework and build single-page application frontends integrated via RESTful APIs.
• Create responsive UI layouts for web and mobile pages using Bootstrap.
• Collaborate with architects, product managers, and UX designers to convert mockups into functional web and mobile flows.
• Design graphical user interface elements including menus, tabs, and widgets.
• Troubleshoot UI issues related to responsiveness, cross-platform compatibility, and browser quirks, and resolve web API performance bottlenecks.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Proven coding proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience building rich UI components using ReactJS.
• Strong understanding of software and application design and architecture.
• Ability to handle front-end UI visual presentation of data, including charts.
• Experience working within an agile environment and knowledge of software quality assurance principles.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with ecommerce application frameworks.
• Knowledge of Linux shell scripts.
