Description

You will drive technical delivery for high-availability server-side and front-end applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design technical solutions by translating functional specifications into detailed API, UI, and middleware designs.
• Own deployment artifacts, application monitoring, logging, and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with in-house and offshore developers through design proposals, peer reviews, and pull request reviews.
• Mentor team members and advocate for SDLC best practices to improve engineering excellence.
• Participate in sprint planning and on-call rotations to ensure system stability.

Required Skills

• 6 to 9 years of experience building, maintaining, and supporting web applications.
• 3+ years of professional experience working with Ruby.
• Proficiency in at least one complete stack including Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, or Python.
• Deep understanding of web abstractions from HTTP to SQL, background jobs, and caching.
• Experience with API development using JSON, XML, OpenAPI, and RESTful concepts.
• Hands-on experience with ACID-compliant RDBMS such as PostgreSQL.
• Proficiency using Linux, shell navigation, and CLI tools for development.
• Experience with endpoint protocols and security including OAuth2, OIDC, SSL, SSH, and LDAP.
• Practical application of Test Driven Development (TDD) or Behavior Driven Development (BDD).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Node.js, React, or Rust development.
• Building containerized applications using K8s, GitOps, or Service Mesh.
• Experience with Jenkins, Infrastructure as Code, or AWS cloud-native applications.
