You will build and maintain scalable backend services and secure data processing workflows.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and consume RESTful API endpoints and asynchronous events to implement business logic.
• Create reusable code and libraries to enhance the technology stack.
• Develop software and processes that securely handle customer health and financial data.
• Collaborate with teams through design reviews, code reviews, and daily technical communication.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of full-time software engineering experience.
• 3+ years of professional experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.
• 3+ years of experience with Node.js.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful API endpoints.
• Experience working with AMQP and GraphQL.
• Experience implementing secure, testable business logic.
• Experience operating event-driven services.
• Experience deploying to cloud environments such as AWS.
• Experience building and maintaining third-party integrations.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
• Experience leveraging message brokers and event streams like AWS SNS or SQS.
• Experience operating in high-security environments such as payments or healthcare.
