You will develop and maintain software applications for medical device environments, ensuring reliability and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java-based software applications in Linux environments.
• Design, implement, and test software components to meet strict regulatory and performance standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Perform code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to resolve issues and enhance legacy code.

Required Skills

• 5 to 8 years of experience developing application software for medical devices.
• Strong proficiency in Java development within Linux environments.
• Deep understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
• Hands-on experience with multi-threading.
• Experience with the Swing framework for desktop application development.
• Expertise in unit testing using frameworks such as Power Mockito.
• Proven experience working with legacy codebases and incremental enhancements.
• Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• 2+ years of experience in the medical device or healthcare industry.
• Understanding of medical device regulations and standards.
