Description

You will build and maintain backend services across the entire software development lifecycle, taking features from concept to production release.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into technical solutions by collaborating with Product and stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and maintain a large codebase.
• Develop and execute unit and integration tests to ensure software quality.
• Write technical documentation to improve software asset maintainability.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software engineering experience building backend software.
• 3+ years of proficiency in Python.
• Experience with Python backend frameworks such as Flask, Django, or FastAPI.
• Experience with microservices, event-driven architectures, and batch processing.
• Proficiency in Python testing frameworks like pytest or unittest.
• Experience with AWS services including Lambda, SQS, and API Gateway.
• Experience with NoSQL databases, specifically DynamoDB.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
