Senior Software Engineer focused on Android telephony systems in Bangalore.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Android telephony OS frameworks, applications, and services to improve connectivity across the Android ecosystem.
• Develop and launch mobile communication technologies, including next-generation features like satellite connectivity, eSIM, and new cellular protocols.
• Enable seamless multi-device calling and messaging experiences across phones, tablets, wearables, and automotive platforms.
• Ensure reliable voice and data connectivity for Android users while collaborating with OEMs, carriers, and enterprise partners.
• Integrate AI technologies into mobile experiences where appropriate to enhance user interaction.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Android development using Java and Kotlin.
• Deep understanding of Android OS frameworks and mobile application architecture.
• Strong background in telephony systems and cellular connectivity protocols.
• Experience with API development and software engineering best practices.
