Description

You will manage and optimize large-scale distributed systems and big data architectures.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Administer Cloudera Hadoop platform (CDP), including HDFS, YARN, Hive, Spark, and Kafka.
• Integrate Hadoop with third-party tools such as Dremo, Unravel, or JupyterHub.
• Develop APIs and RESTful services using standard integration patterns.
• Perform tuning and troubleshooting for Hadoop services and workflows.
• Manage RedHat Linux administration and shell scripting tasks.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Hadoop administration.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, Scala, and Bash.
• Hands-on experience with Cloudera Hadoop, YARN, Hive, Spark, and Kafka.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems and big data architecture.
• Experience with RESTful services and API development.
• RedHat Linux administration and shell scripting skills.
• Knowledge of security frameworks including Kerberos, Apache Ranger, and TLS encryption.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Cloudera Manager, Grafana, or Unravel.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with DevOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, or Jenkins.
