Description

You will lead technical delivery and support for production network services in the cloud. You own incident recovery, operational improvements, and strategic planning. You mentor staff and develop networking solutions for AWS and other providers.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical recovery of production services during major incidents.
• Improve operational processes and act as a change agent.
• Develop and refine networking solutions for AWS and other cloud providers.
• Mentor staff through coaching, goal setting, and performance feedback.
• Provide technical analysis for tactical and strategic planning.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in cloud networking and infrastructure.
• Deep expertise in AWS landing zone services, tools, and processes.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, VPCs, Subnets, Route tables, and NAT configuration.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including Route53, Security Groups, VPN Gateways, and Elastic IPs.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Knowledge of continuous delivery tools like AWS CodePipeline and AWS CodeCommit.
• Experience with PaaS, IaaS, and cloud-native microservices architectures.
• Competency in Windows and *nix environments and familiarity with CloudWatch, CloudTrail, or DataDog.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure cloud services and Azure Functions.
• Familiarity with serverless technologies like AWS Lambda.
