Description

You will design, build, and support scalable backend systems and APIs as a core contributor to the personalization team.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-volume, fault-tolerant backend services and microservices.
• Implement system instrumentation and define technical vision for major features.
• Mentor junior engineers and ensure adherence to engineering standards.
• Collaborate with product management and application layer teams in a rapid development lifecycle.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Python.
• Experience with Spring Framework and microservices architectures.
• Hands-on experience with GraphQL and REST APIs.
• Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and computer science fundamentals.
• Experience designing multithreaded systems with caching and fault tolerance.
• Knowledge of distributed systems, system design, and data storage.
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud environments (GCP).
• Proficiency using AI-assisted coding tools like GitHub Copilot or Cursor.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
