Description

Design and build technical solutions for digital payment systems, including P2P and disbursements, while leading Proof of Concept efforts to evaluate emerging technologies.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust technical solutions for digital payment systems, ensuring they meet business requirements and adhere to established standards.
• Research and evaluate current and upcoming technologies to support strategic decision-making and vendor selection.
• Lead Proof of Concept (PoC) activities to validate vendor solutions and frameworks.
• Maintain adherence to client standards, processes, and technical artifact templates within a matrix-based environment.

Required Skills

• 13+ years of advanced work experience as a Software Engineer or Technology Lead.
• Strong proficiency in Java and the Spring Framework.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful Web Services using JSON.
• Hands-on experience with Angular for frontend development.
• Proficiency with build tools (Maven), logging (Log4j), and web servers (Apache).
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or foreign equivalent.
• Proven ability to function independently and communicate effectively in a remote matrix environment.

Preferred Skills

• Demonstrated experience with digital payment systems, specifically P2P payments and disbursements.
