Description

You will drive performance testing automation and execution for authorization software teams.

Responsibilities

• Execute performance testing and benchmarking, then present results to Development and Capacity Management teams.
• Lead Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to evaluate vendor solutions, technologies, and frameworks.
• Enforce Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes to improve departmental standards and efficiency.
• Act as a technical expert for specific components, sharing knowledge across global development teams.
• Contribute to continuous process improvement within a complex, evolving workspace.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Experience with Event Driven Architecture and Service Aggregation.
• Solid experience with relational databases, including efficient SQL queries and Stored Procedures.
• Hands-on experience with Configuration Management tools such as Git, Subversion, or Mercurial.
• Working knowledge of testing frameworks (Gtest, JUnit) and mocking.
• Proficiency using Eclipse and working across Windows, UNIX, and Linux.
• Understanding of software design principles, patterns, algorithms, data structures, and multi-threading.
• Knowledge of continuous delivery practices and industry-standard test automation frameworks.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with IBM Integration Bus (IIB/ACE).
• Proficiency with Splunk.
• Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall environments.
