Description

You will own baseline architecture implementations and design activities, collaborating with the engineering team to evolve existing services with minimal guidance.

Work to define feature requirements and deliver products that materially impact the business and improve consumer experience. Identify performance bottlenecks and implement novel solutions to design and deploy scalable, resilient, high-performance services.

Provide guidance to teams on development standards, automation, and tools. Debug Tier 1 applications and simplify complex implementations using strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute and own baseline architecture implementations and design activities.
• Design and implement scalable, resilient services using Spring Boot and REST APIs.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and deliver solutions that improve consumer experience.
• Provide guidance to teams on development standards, automation, and tools.
• Debug Tier 1 applications and simplify complex implementations.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of full-stack engineering experience in production environments.
• Expert programming skills in Java/JEE, including Spring Framework and Hibernate.
• Proficiency in Software Development Best Practices: ATDD/BDD, Unit tests.
• Experience building REST APIs with SQL and NoSQL persistence technologies.
• Web stack proficiency: JavaScript, CSS, JSON, AngularJS or similar.
• Experience with Messaging, Node JS, Express JS, or similar server-side frameworks.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or IT.

Preferred Skills

• Master’s degree in a related discipline.
• Experience with C++, Python, Scala, Shell scripting, or C++.
