Description

Design and maintain scalable networking infrastructure and production-grade software systems.

Responsibilities

• Build and deliver mission-critical, 24x7 production quality software systems.
• Refactor monolithic architectures into microservice-oriented designs.
• Research and implement next-generation network architectures using software-defined networking technologies.
• Analyze and enhance existing applications, codebases, and service relevance.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to maintain system stability.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on software development experience in design, debugging, and support.
• Expertise in Java and debugging tools such as jdb and JMX.
• In-depth understanding of scale-out infrastructure, distributed systems, and web services.
• Experience with ODL, REST, RESTCONF, and RPC services.
• Proficiency in Linux environments with automation scripting using Ansible, Python, or Bash.
• Experience with Linux networking and virtualization, including KVM, containers, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Strong application of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented concepts.

Preferred Skills

• Messaging infrastructure development using Kafka, Thrift, or Protocol Buffers.
• Observability experience with Logstash, Elasticsearch, Kibana, Grafana, or Splunk.
• Database experience with MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra, or SQL/NoSQL.
