Description

Basic Qualifications: 

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in Java-based Software Engineering and application development
• 3+ years of experience developing, consuming, and supporting RESTful APIs and integration services
• 3+ years of experience managing API-to-database connectivity using relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc.) and/or NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, Graph DB, etc.)
• 2+ years of experience working with messaging technologies such as Kafka, Kinesis, SNS, or SQS
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technology field

Degree: Bachelor’s in computer science or Master’s degree in a technology related field (e.g., Computer Engineering, Computer Science, etc.)

Nice to Have:

• Experience developing highly scalable distributed systems using open-source technologies
• Experience supporting high-volume customer-facing API traffic
• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Maven, Jenkins, uDeploy, Stash, or Ansible
• 2+ years of hands-on experience building resilient, scalable, cloud-native solutions on AWS
• Experience with operational database administration and support for Oracle and PostgreSQL
• Ability to validate, monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across development, testing, and production environments
• Experience working within Agile teams distributed across multiple geographic locations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Desire and ability to learn and adopt new technologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to approach complex challenges from multiple perspectives
• Domain experience in Financial Services, Banking, Wealth Management, or Investment Management
• Consulting experience with a proven track record of stakeholder engagement, client relationship management, and trusted advisor partnerships
• AWS Associate, Professional, or Specialty certifications are a plus
