Roles and Responsibilities:

• Work on Linux kernel and embedded software components to improve Android device power and performance.
• Develop and maintain device driver code and related kernel/CPU interactions.
• Analyze performance and power using ftrace and systrace; identify root causes and propose optimizations.
• Handle clock-related behavior and scheduler impacts to improve system responsiveness and efficiency.
• Support low power modes and memory optimization efforts, validating changes across Android userspace.

Skills Required:

• 4 - 8 years of relevant experience in embedded Linux/Android performance and power engineering (additional experience up to 10 years considered).
• Linux kernel development and embedded software development experience.
• C and C++ (including embedded C/C++) for performance-critical code.
• Device driver development, clock handling, and scheduler knowledge.
• Android power analysis, performance improvement, memory optimization, and low power modes; tracing with ftrace/systrace and basic Android userspace knowledge.

Good to Have:

• BSP experience and AOSP environment familiarity.
• Java knowledge for Android-side integration and debugging.

Education: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
