Description

You will own the development, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mainframe applications in a hybrid setting.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using COBOL, CICS, and batch processing.
• Execute and troubleshoot batch processes using JCL and related utilities.
• Manage application changes and deployments using version control systems.
• Diagnose and resolve complex issues within the mainframe environment.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of mainframe-based application development experience.
• Strong proficiency in COBOL, CICS, and DB2 with embedded SQL.
• Experience with TSO/ISPF, JCL, and QMF.
• Proficiency with scripting and automation tools.
• Familiarity with Rocket Shuttle, Xpediter, and Jira.
• Strong testing skills and structured programming techniques.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision and produce clear documentation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Java.
