Description

You will build and lead scalable microservices and event-driven applications, solving complex technical challenges from design through production.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data-intensive, highly scalable architectures, including APIs, microservices, and serverless patterns.
• Translate business and technical requirements into high-quality engineering deliverables.
• Own the release pipeline and address technical debt using a pragmatic, commercially focused approach.
• Deliver reusable, shared components utilized across multiple squads and products.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional experience in software engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Java, TypeScript, and JavaScript (Node.js).
• Expertise in Spring Boot for building high-performance services and Spring EE for RESTful APIs.
• Experience designing and implementing event-driven systems using RabbitMQ and/or Apache Kafka.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, Lambda, ECS, RDS, DynamoDB, and CloudFormation/CDK.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tooling such as TeamCity, Octopus Deploy, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins (implied by CI/CD mention).
• Solid understanding of observability practices using OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Experience with testing methodologies, specifically TDD and BDD, and related automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with database technologies including PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and DynamoDB.
