Description

You will design, develop, and maintain large-scale shared services and infrastructure supporting search and information retrieval capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-performing, scalable software solutions in collaboration with architects and lead engineers.
• Solve complex business problems and provide technical support to ensure product availability.
• Identify and resolve software performance bottlenecks and troubleshoot critical production issues.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to distributed software and systems engineering teams.
• Create and maintain technical documentation to ensure long-term supportability of all assigned components.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful services.
• Hands-on experience with Git and GitHub.
• Working knowledge of Linux environments.
• Experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS and Azure.
• Ability to interpret existing code and solve problems based on established standards.
• Experience working within agile ceremonies and distributed global teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with a DevOps mindset in enterprise-scale software development.
