Description

You will design, develop, and deploy scalable microservices and REST APIs using Python and AWS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop microservice-based software solutions and scalable web services.
• Implement event-driven programming in Python to process IoT data and build REST APIs.
• Develop and maintain cloud-based solutions using AWS services including EC2, EMR, Glue, Redshift, RDS, Athena, and Lake Formation.
• Deploy and scale services using Docker and container orchestration.
• Collaborate with global, cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade products.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional Python development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Python, data structures, and OOP.
• Proficiency in designing scalable web services and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with distributed systems and distributed architecture.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud architecture.
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL, Oracle, or Postgres) and NoSQL (MongoDB).
• Proficiency with Git for code versioning.
• Knowledge of security best practices and data protection measures.
• Familiarity with JavaScript, CSS3, and HTML5.

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing streaming data pipelines using PySpark or Apache Beam.
• Knowledge of stream processing with Kafka and KSQL.
• Experience with graph databases like Neo4j or Hadoop ecosystems (Hive, HBase).
