You will focus on identifying, analyzing, and remediating security vulnerabilities within the Qt framework.

Responsibilities

• Identify and fix security vulnerabilities within the Qt framework.
• Analyze Qt-based code for common security issues like buffer overflows, race conditions, and input validation flaws.
• Analyze CVEs and security advisories related to Qt to assess impact.
• Apply secure coding guidelines and best practices across the codebase.
• Collaborate with security teams to build and run automated security tests.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in C++ and the Qt Framework.
• Strong proficiency in C++ with hands-on experience in Qt.
• Deep understanding of Qt modules such as QtCore, QtGUI, and QtNetwork.
• Knowledge of software security principles, including OWASP and MITRE CWE.
• Ability to understand and patch large codebases.
• Experience with secure communication protocols (TLS, certificate pinning) and file handling in Qt.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with Linux and embedded development environments.
