Description

You will lead feature development and design software for a high-scale, distributed cloud platform.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in the development of product features and maintainable code.
• Design software according to agreed standards, architecture, and requirements.
• Enforce coding standards, best practices, and continuous improvement.
• Plan and perform testing to ensure security and scalability standards.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical capabilities across the team.

Required Skills

• At least 4 years of experience as a Java back-end software engineer.
• At least 2 years of experience working within a Scrum team.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Proven experience developing microservices-based architectures.
• Experience developing in AWS environments.
• Proficiency with testing technologies such as JUnit and Cucumber.
• Strong software design, debugging, and problem-solving abilities.
• High-level verbal and written English skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience building distributed production systems at large scale.
• Experience profiling and optimizing code to improve performance.
