Description

You will design and build data streaming and event-driven services.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build data streaming and event-driven applications.
• Implement unit and integration tests for front-end and back-end components.
• Manage and deploy applications using containerization and infrastructure-as-code.
• Apply security-first principles across all development work.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• 3+ years working with AWS services (RDS, DynamoDB, Lambda, S3, SNS, SQS).
• Experience building event-driven systems using Kafka or Kinesis.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript for front-end development.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with back-end unit testing frameworks like JUnit and Mockito.
• Familiarity with Docker and microservices architecture.
• Understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
• Experience with CI/CD tooling like GitLab and Terraform.
