Description

You will design and maintain AWS-based infrastructure and backend services, owning the release pipeline and troubleshooting distributed systems.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable solutions using AWS core services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, ECS, API Gateway).
• Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Develop and maintain backend services in Python, Node.js, or Go, ensuring robust RESTful API design.
• Drive root cause analysis, monitor system health via CloudWatch and X-Ray, and resolve production incidents.
• Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and document architectural decisions and troubleshooting guides.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of software development experience with 5+ years dedicated to AWS cloud platform.
• Strong proficiency in Python, Node.js, or Go; Java knowledge is a plus.
• Experience with databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Aurora.
• Deep understanding of VPC networking, IAM, and AWS security services.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab preferred) and microservices architecture.
• Ability to analyze logs, metrics, and traces to diagnose complex distributed system issues.

Preferred Skills

• AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer).
• Experience with serverless architecture and frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Background in regulated industries.
