Build and maintain scalable backend systems for high-transaction environments.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-performance backend services using Java.
• Solve complex technical problems with an analytical approach.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to evolve system architecture.
• Ensure engineering excellence through clean code, testing, and automation.
• Maintain system reliability and observability in high-TPS environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java 8 or Java 11.
• Proficiency with Lambda expressions and Stream API.
• Deep understanding of Kafka concepts, messaging semantics, and reliability.
• Experience with MongoDB for data modeling and scalability.
• CI/CD experience using Jenkins.
• Experience with Oracle DB, Db2, or Sybase IQ.
• Hands-on experience with Drools or an equivalent rules engine.
