Design and build scalable healthcare solutions using Java, Spring Boot, and Apache Spark.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end application architectures using Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, and Spark for capitation-based healthcare processing.
• Define architectural standards and apply proven design patterns to ensure modularity and maintainability across engineering teams.
• Build agents powered by large language models (LLMs) to enhance solution development in the healthcare domain.
• Guide engineering teams on microservice-oriented designs, integration patterns, and deployment strategies.
• Review solution designs to ensure compliance with security, scalability, and regulatory expectations.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in software engineering and system architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Proficiency with Apache Spark for data processing.
• Experience with Kafka for event-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with AWS and Python.
• Experience building agents using LLMs.
• Background in the healthcare domain, specifically capitation-based platforms.
• Experience with Linux environments.
