Description

Design and build scalable backend systems and IoT integrations for connected hardware products.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect scalable systems and define project requirements through stakeholder collaboration.
• Maintain and expand the AWS IoT environment while developing new backend features.
• Build new IoT integrations for connected hardware and implement application designs with the design team.
• Lead and mentor junior software engineers while providing technical decision-making.
• Develop proof of concept prototypes and perform unit and functional testing to ensure code quality.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of backend development experience.
• 4+ years of experience with Python.
• 4+ years of experience with containers.
• 4+ years of experience with GraphQL or REST APIs.
• 3+ years of experience architecting backend systems in AWS.
• Proficiency with AWS systems including DynamoDB, IAM, IoT Core, ECS, Kinesis, Lambda, and API Gateway.
• Experience with data visualization and data pipelines.
• Proven track record of shipping software products to market.
