Description

You will engineer large-scale data platform components for real-time and batch processing within an advertising data infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Build and own features for big data applications to support evolving business needs.
• Develop next-generation cloud-based infrastructure for batch and streaming data applications.
• Optimize system performance, scalability, and availability.
• Contribute to the full software lifecycle, including design, implementation, experimentation, and testing.
• Apply engineering best practices through design patterns, CI/CD, code reviews, and automated testing.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on object-oriented programming.
• Expert-level Scala proficiency.
• Extensive experience processing large-scale data at the petabyte level.
• Deep expertise in Big Data frameworks, specifically Spark and Flink.
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and tools including Terraform, K8S, Spinnaker, IAM, and ALB.
• Experience with data technologies such as Snowflake, Presto, and Kinesis.
• Foundational knowledge of the web stack including HTML, CSS, and Webpack.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with web frameworks such as React.js, Vue.js, or Angular.
