Description

Build and maintain core frameworks and services for the engineering organization, focusing on scalability and resilience.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, highly available SaaS applications and distributed systems.
• Build core frameworks to support product development across multiple feature teams.
• Implement performant systems on AWS handling high transaction volumes.
• Uplevel microservices standards to ensure system resilience and scalability.
• Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to deliver complex solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software development experience in large-scale business environments.
• Expert-level proficiency in Java.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services: ECS, SQS, SNS, Kinesis, S3, Lambda, EventBridge, and OpenSearch.
• Proficiency in SQL database design using Oracle or MySQL.
• Experience with NoSQL databases, specifically DynamoDB.
• Proven track record implementing complex distributed systems and high-volume transactional platforms.
• BS in Computer Science or a related technical area.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with RabbitMQ, Redis, and ElasticSearch.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs.
