Build and maintain Site Reliability Engineering tools that empower product teams to manage production services.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop software and tools to automate infrastructure management and reduce manual toil.
• Architect cloud-based services and maintain the underlying infrastructure.
• Write performant, maintainable, and testable code while conducting rigorous code reviews for quality and security.
• Mentor junior engineers to improve their technical skills.
• Lead technical meetings to drive decisive outcomes.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proven history of writing maintainable and testable code.
• Experience architecting cloud-based services.
• Ability to drive technical decisions in a collaborative environment.
• Strong focus on automation and reducing manual toil.
• Experience with modern software testing practices.
• Commitment to writing secure software.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with automated configuration tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Experience writing web applications in Python.
